How much does a mill cost?
We strive to optimize your milling system based on specific applications. System investment costs vary depending on individual processing requirements. We would be happy to work with you to assess what be most ideal for your operational needs and goals. You can expect a range of about $10,000-$50,000 (+/-).
Which mill is best for my material?
Whether you would “cut it with scissors” or “smash it with a hammer”, the quality of every production process or material analysis depends on the quality of the sample preparation. It is important to consider all of the individual milling parameters in order to make an informed choice: purpose of milling, physical material properties, initial feed size, volume for processing, milling timeframe, and desired final particle size.
What kind of throughput can we expect to see?
Depending on the varied material properties, moisture levels, and final size requirements, we have clients processing up to 1-8lbs per minute with standard and automated, bulk handling configurations. Individual lab samples of grams to liters complete in seconds and minutes.
